Our Itinerary |
Day 1: San Juan, PR. We finally arrive and catch the cruise line bus from the airport. We are onboard and in our cabin by 1:30. Allyn on the balcony of our cabin, #1390 on Deck 10. |
Teri on our balcony. |
After dropping our bags in the room, the first thing we did was get something to eat! Lunch was at the Windjammer Cafe (a buffet restaurant we call the Foodjammer). |
Then it was off to explore the ship! This is the jogging track on Deck 12 under the Viking Crown Lounge. |
The expansive Pool Deck. That's Teri waving in the pink shirt to the left of center. |
The Venice-themed Solarium pool (adults only). We spent a lot of time here over the course of the cruise, both in the water and relaxing on the lounges. |
The torii outside of the asian-inspired Imperial Lounge. Foo dogs are in back. |
Overview of the Royal Promenade. What a place! Two bars, several shops, a 24-hour Cafe with pizza, sandwiches and cookies. The staircase in the foreground leads right to the casino. The indoor-mall-like Royal Promenade is one of the features that sets the Voyager-class vessels apart from other cruise ships, and one of the things we were most interested in experiencing. |
