Day 1: Los Angeles. The Crystal Harmony, built in 1990, is smaller than we are used to, but very attractive. In fact, Allyn was pleased with the number of places to go on the ship. (This is actually a shot of the ship taken a couple of days later).

Closeup of the smoke stack with the Crystal logo.

Our category A cabin, 9018. It is about the same inside as a category D cabin on Royal Caribbean, with a slightly larger balcony. We had expected a larger cabin, but it turns out that Crystal quotes the square footage of the cabin and balcony combined. Royal Caribbean only quotes the cabin.

Another shot looking the other direction.

Part of the bathroom. Out of sight is a tub/shower combo. We don't get a tub or marble counter top on Royal Caribbean.

Our balcony.

And now, a tour of the ship. This is the main 2-deck high atrium on deck 5 and 6. The public rooms are on decks 5, 6, and 11.

The staircase in the atrium.

Crystal Cove lounge, there is a piano made of clear lucite in the corner they call the crystal piano.
