Sushi chefs make various kinds of sushi and place it on the conveyor belt, which runs around the restaurant in front of the customers. When you see something you want to eat, just grab the plate from the conveyor. The plates are color coded as to the cost of the food. At the end of the meal, the server figures your bill by adding up the price of each plate.
