And here is the famous rock-climbing wall. Alas, we never got a chance to try it this cruise.

The ship is about to depart from Seattle and we are at the front of Deck 11.

A fire boat accompanied us out onto the bay.

After dinner, Marc and Allyn had to try the self-levelling pool tables, the first at sea. These pool tables automatically counteract the movement of the ship so the top surface of the table stays level and the balls don't roll away.

Day 2: Vancouver, British Columbia.

We are docked at Canada Place, a hotel and pavilion built for EXPO '86, the world's fair held in Vancouver.

Downtown Vancouver as seen from Radiance of the Seas. That round thing is the Harbour Centre tower.

We had lunch in the Foodjammer and watched some seaplanes take off and land in the water before heading off the ship.

Marc and Tami walked around downtown Vancouver and took this shot of our beautiful ship from the Harbour Centre tower. Our cabins were 3 decks up from the last yellow lifeboat.
