London Eye at night.

We walked along the Thames and came to the Hungerford bridge. This is an older train bridge that had been retrofitted with spectacular walking bridges just a few years ago. We took the Tube home from the Embankment stop at Charing Cross station.

Day 4: London sightseeing. Another beautiful day in London. Why do people complain about the weather here? Since it was a nice day, we went straight to the London Eye to get in as quick as we could without advance tickets.

Time for one photo of Parliament on the way, though.

It turned out there was no wait at all and we got right on. We are now on the London Eye.

The pods are almost all window so the views are great.

Charing Cross train station and the Hungerford bridge.

Buckingham Palace is just above the center of this photo.

Aerial view of Parliament.
