GhostRider is unbelievable. It is by far the best wooden coaster
I have ever ridden. Unlike many coasters, it seems to go faster and faster
as the ride continues. It is surprisingly fast throughout the entire ride,
especially after the mid-course block brake. This is a must-ride
for any coaster enthusiast. Knott's, Cedar Fair LP (Knott's owners),
and Custom Coaster Inc. (the ride designers) have a real winner
on their hands with this one.
The day started off grey and dreary and I wanted to stay home
but my wife, Teri, decided we should
go anyway. As it turned out, she was right and after 2 p.m. or so,
the sky cleared, the sun came out, and the day remained beautiful
until sunset.
Everyone with GhostRider photos seems to have a panorama so I felt
the need to
include one here myself. I suspect that little balcony at the
Buena Park Hotel has been seeing a lot of action lately.
GhostRider was the focus of this visit. In a future visit, I plan
to take photos of the other coasters at Knott's (and ride GhostRider
many more times).
